Spartans shoot 63% for second-straight win
The D’Youville College men’s basketball team won their second-straight game Tuesday night, stunning Keuka College 65-61. The Spartans shot 63% (12-19 from the floor, and 85% (11-13) from the free-throw line in the second-half to earn the win.
D’Youville improves to 3-13 overall, 2-5 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC). Keuka falls to 4-4 in the NEAC, 8-5 overall.
Ross King (Silver Springs, NY/Letchworth) paced the Spartans with a game-high 23 points and five blocked shots. Nick Munding (Greece, NY/Greece Olympia was 6-6 from the free-throw line in the game’s final minute and finished with 17 points. Tom Kowalski (Cheektowaga, NY/JFK) added 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. .
The Storm received 22 points from Corey Edwards (Elba, Ny/Elba), and 13 points from Todd Lincoln (Watkins Glen, NY/Watkins Glen).
