Trinity (13-4, 6-1) led 37-30 at the half, shooting better than 53% in the opening period. The Tigers also held Hendrix to 30.6% shooting in the period. Trinity out-rebounded Hendrix 44-35 in the game, and finished with a 49.2% field goal percentage - also holding Hendrix to 37.5% shooting.
Andy Bates led four Tiger players in double figure scoring in the game, finishing with 20 points on 8-10 shooting. Bates also had four blocks and two steals in just 24 minutes on the floor.
James Lake established a new career high in points for the third time in the past four games, scoring 18 points on 6-8 shooting (3-4 from three-point range). Mike Gilb came off the bench to score a career-high 12 points, hitting 5-6 shots and pulling down two rebounds.
Ross Burt added 17 points and 10 boards for a double-double, while Jay Riola finished with eight boards and three assists. Mitch Walker led the team with five assists, while Casey Hill added seven rebounds (three offensive) and two steals.
Hendrix was led by Andrew King's 15 points, while Drew George grabbed a team-high eight rebounds off the bench. Justin Wagner scored five points and led all players with six assists. John Paul Noland and Matt Secrease added 12 points each for the Warriors.
