The Suffolk University men's basketball team won 86-55 over conference opponent Daniel Webster Saturday afternoon at Suffolk's Regan Gym. Suffolk got back to .500 on the season at 7-7 and also improved to 5-2 in the GNAC. Daniel Webster dropped their 13th straight game to start the season (0-13 overall) and also fell to 0-7 in the GNAC.
Suffolk's John Murphy (N. Reading, MA) led all scorers with 22 points on 9-17 shooting (4-10 3pt FG). Sam Tully (San Paulo, Brazil) added 11 for Suffolk on 4-7 shooting and Chris MacDonald reached double figures for Suffolk as well as he scored 10 points on 4-6 shooting in the contest.
Adam Greeno was the only Daniel Webster player to reach double figures as he scored 11 points on 4-6 shooting to lead his team.
