Endicott 82, Anna Maria 63

BEVERLY, MA — Endicott College had four of its five starters reach double digits and recorded 22 assists in an 82-63 victory over Anna Maria College Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at MacDonald Gymnasium.

The Gulls won their fifth straight game, improving to 9-5 overall and 6-0 in the CCC while AMC fell to 2-15 overall and 0-9 in the CCC.

Junior forward Nemanja Marinkovic (Belgrade, Serbia & Montenegro/Second Baptist School, TX) scored a game-high 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting. He also pulled down eight rebounds, dished out three assists and had two steals for the victors.

Senior forward Matt George (Dover, NH/Dover) added 14 points and three assists while senior guard Zach Ellis (Westford, MA/Westford Academy) scored 12 points and handed out seven assists. Junior forward Mike Sullivan (Marshfield, MA/Marshfield) dropped in 12 points and pulled down nine boards.

Endicott also got a strong game off the bench from Gary Corbett (Danbury, CT/Danbury). Corbett, who has thrived in his role as the sixth man, was 3-of-6 from beyond the three-point line in recording 11 points and five rebounds.

The Amcats were within two points, 29-27, in the middle of the first half but EC went on a 19-7 run to close out the first half.

Anthony McDonald led Anna Maria with 15 points and seven rebounds while Dan Sadlowsky addd 14 points, seven assists and two steals.

Endicott is back at home Tuesday night (8) versus the University of New England.
