The Ravens were led by J.D. Clampitt with 19 points and seven rebounds. The senior hit 8-of-17 field goals, including a pair of 3-pointers. Nick Rogers just missed a double-double off the bench with 13 points and nine rebounds.
Nick Cochran also reached double figures with 11 points and Lloyd DeLoatch led the Ravens with five assists.
The Ravens shot 44 percent from the field compared to only 39 percent for the Beavers, but the visitors converted 24-of-34 free throws compared to only 10-of-17 for the home team. AU shot 52 percent in the first half and led 35-30 at the break, but made only 9-of-25 shots in the second half (36 percent).
HCAC leading scorer Scott Berman was held to only 14 points for Bluffton, including 3-of-13 from the field.
AU held a slight edge on the boards (35-33) and in assists (12-8), but committed one more turnover than Bluffton (11-10).
AU (7-10, 2-4 HCAC) travels to Manchester on Wednesday. The game will be carried live on the internet broadcast at 7:30 p.m.
