Illinois Wesleyan 87, Wheaton (Ill.) 81
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Keelan Amelianovich scored 27 points and Zach Freeman scored 16 points and snared 18 rebounds as Illinois Wesleyan escaped with an 87-81 overtime win over Wheaton at the Shirk Center on Wed., Jan. 18. The Titans improved to 13-2 overall and 3-2 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the Thunder fell to 5-9 overall, 1-2 in the CCIW. IWU outscored the Thunder, 13-7 in the extra period as Amelianovich and Adam Dauksas each had five in the OT. The Titans shot .547 for the game from the field (35 of 64) and outrebounded Wheaton, 36-27. Dauksas had a game-high nine assists.
