Junior guard Christine Aldrich (Montpelier, VT) netted a collegiate career-high 16 points for the Golden Bears, who limited the host Blazers to 24.1-percent shooting in the second half to pull away from a 37-26 lead at intermission.
Junior forward Sharon Simoncelli (Litchfield, CT) scored nine points, while senior center Lisa Masella (Newtown, CT) and sophomore Jennifer Dabrowski (Plainville, CT) added eight points apiece for the Golden Bears, who outscored the Blazers 28-12 in the paint.
Elms College returns to North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play with a weekend trip to Maine for games at Thomas College (Saturday, January 21) and Maine-Farmington (Sunday, January 22).
