BUFFALO, NY — Oswego (11-3/5-1) shot 63.8-percent from the field and made 7 of 10 for long range to beat Buffalo State (9-5/3-2), 93-75, in a SUNYAC game tonight at the Sports Arena.

Buffalo State opened the game with a 12-2 run, before Oswego took over the opening stanza. The Lakers responded with a 13-0 run of their own, and closed out the stanza with a 49-37 lead. Oswego shot 61.3-percent from the field, including hitting 4 of 5 from long range in the opening 20 minutes. The Lakers stayed in control in the second half, never letting the Bengals cut the deficit to single digits.

The Bengals will visit Brockport on Friday at 8 p.m. for a conference match-up.
