Alfred 93, Penn Sate-Dubois 62

ALFRED, NY —
The Alfred University men’s basketball team defeated Penn State Dubois 93-62 on Tuesday evening.

The Saxons’ offense was on as they shot 54 percent from the field and 45 percent from behind the arc. From the free throw line the Saxons shot 85 percent. AU dominated on the boards with a 45-24 edge over Penn State Dubois.

The Saxons were led by junior forward Dillon Stein. Stein had a game high 20 points to go along with seven rebounds and two assists. Senior guard Ryan Hallet scored 17 points including six three pointers. Junior guard Rob McCarter chipped in 11 points as senior forward Todd Dersham chipped in 10 points. Senior guard Quentin Bryant and sophomore guard Garlen Patt each finished with nine points as senior guard Seve Micheaux netted eight points.

Penn State Dubois was led by Dylan Howard who scored five of their 13 three pointers. Pat Brown scored 10 points to go along with four rebounds.
