The Saints, 10-4, 3-1, opened the game with a 15-0 run and never looked back. They shot 45.6 percent from the floor, outrebounded the Bison, 53-25 and forced 20 turnovers.
Sophomore forward Stephanie Witko (Halifax/South Boston, VA) tallied a career-high 18 points on 9-11 shooting from the floor. She also had 7 rebounds. Freshman Christina LaVigna (Westhampton/East Morachies, NY) hit for 9 points and 8 rebounds.
The Bison, 2-11, 0-4, were led by Amanda Huser (Indiana School for the Deaf/Indianapolis, IN) with 15 points, including three three-pointers. Johanna Karmgard (Manillaskolan/Stockholm, Sweden) added 12 points and pulled down 5 boards.
The Saints will travel to Rowan University on Monday for a 3 p.m. tipoff. That will be a non-conference game for Marymount.
