The Vikings shot 59.3 percent (32-54), including 60 percent (12-20) on 3-pointers to move to 12-0 on the season, which is the best start in school history. Lawrence is 6-0 in conference play.
Senior forward Kyle MacGillis poured in 26 points and was 10 of 13 from the floor, including 6 of 7 on 3-pointers, to pace Lawrence. Keven Bradley added 13 points and Matt Osland had 12 for the Vikings.
All-America forward Chris Braier was limited to only five points and took only five shots. He did record 12 assists, tying the second-highest game total in school history, and pulled down nine rebounds.
Brad Wehner paced Lake Forest (5-8, 3-3) with 20 points and Greg Klos added 10.
Lake Forest trimmed Lawrence's lead to 36-31 early in the second half, but the Vikings responded with a 14-2 run and never looked back. MacGillis scored eight points for the Vikings in that stretch.
Lake Forest never got closer than 11 points after that, and Lawrence led by as many as 23 points.
The Vikings are back in action on Wednesday when they host Carroll College.
