Pitt-Greensburg 85, Medaille 58

GREENSBURG, PA — The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Men's Basketball team broke a three-game losing streak by defeating Medaille College 85-58. The win improved the Bobcats to 5-7 overall and 3-2 in the AMCC.

The Bobcats shot an astounding 52% from the field for the game and forced Medaille into 19 turnovers.

Leading the way for the Bobcats was senior Duke Cooper. Cooper posted a game-high 23 points, as he shot 10 for 14 from the field. He also posted a game-high four assists. Daniel Waajid posted 14 points and five rebounds, while Chris Streett and Bill Scavincky netted 12 and 10 points respectively.

Medaille was led by Bill Gersitz, who posted 19 points, and Scott Hack, who scored 17 points.

The men's basketball team is back in action tomorrow afternoon when they will play host to Hilbert College. The tip-off is scheduled for for 4:00 PM.
