Baruch 75, New York City Tech 56

New York, NY — Baruch defeated the Yellow Jackets of City Tech on Friday night, 75-56, to stay undefeated at home (5-0) and in conference play (6-0).

Louie Karis (Brooklyn, NY/Xaverian) led the way for the Bearcats (14-3, 6-0 CUNYAC) with 17 points, seven rebounds, and 7-of-7 shooting from the free throw line.

Robi Davidson (Tel Aviv, Israel/Beverly Hills) scored 12 points, while Cheick Fadika (Abidjan, Ivory Coast/Petit) nearly had a double-double with 10 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks.

The Bearcats stormed out to a 39-25 halftime lead, and led by as many 24 points (53-29) with 14:27 left in the game. They also out-rebounded the Yellow Jackets, 53-47.

Jamaal Hall (Brooklyn, NY/Benjamin Banneker) scored 24 points to lead the visitors.

Baruch will return to action on Wednesday, January 18, with a conference road game against CSI.Tip off in Staten Island is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
