BROOKLYN, NY — The Dolphins made it two in a row with a good team effort at City Tech on Wednesday night, scoring an 87-71 victory over the Yellow Jackets. With the win, the Dolphins get back to the .500 mark at 6-6 overall, 4-1 in CUNY action. Dennis Echols (Stroudsberg/Jamaica, NY) scored 21 of his team-high 25 points in the second half, while Kelvin Luna (West Hempstead/Flushing, NY) scored 24 points, 17 in the second half. CSI held a slim five point lead, 35-30 at the break. The Dolphins came out shooting in the second stanza, and opened up a 49-31 lead after starting the half on a 14-1 run. CSI posted 52 points in the second frame, while converting on 21-22 free throws. City Tech (3-10, 2-3 CUNY) battled back, but could never again get the lead below double digits.
