Hickey scored 24 of his points in the first half, connecting of his first six attempts from three point ranch. He finished the night hitting nine of 15 shot overall and seven of 12 from beyond the arch. Hickey was a perfect six of six from the charity stripe.
Stanley Chamblain (Chelsea, MA) added 20 points for the Owls. He connected on six of seven attempts from three-point land as Keene State went 15 of 33 from long range on the night.
Keene State, 10-3 overall and 4-0 in the Little East Conference, held its biggest lead of 34 points, 69-35 when Chamblain canned the three pointer with 17:46 still left in the game.
Greg Cole (Terrytown, NY) led WestConn with 27 points including 16 markers in the second stanza.
Jamaal Robinson (Meriden, CT) was the only other Colonial to reach double figures in the scoring column. He had 13 points and six rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench.
