The Lakers led 28-27 in a see-saw first half before Vanessa Acosta's three with 50 seconds left gave the Cougars the lead for good. A three by Ellie Bravo (23 points) and a free throw by Kelly Glidewell sent the visitors to the locker room with a 34-28 lead.
Concordia then blizted Silver Lake with a fast eight points to start the second half. Glidewell's lay-up just 10 seconds in was followed by threes from Bravo and Acosta. The Cougars stayed on the accelerator and took their first 20-point lead at 58-38 with 10:57 remaining. Before it was all over, Concordia was able to empty their bench and play all 16 players in uniform for the game.
Bravo's 23 came on 10-14 shooting that included a perfect 3-3 from long range. Alison Sansone scored 10 points and added four assists. Allison Muellercame off the bench to score nine points and add six rebounds, and Atoi Sinclair added eight points and a team-leading nine rebounds. Lindsay Rozmarynoski scored 24, including six three-pointers, to lead the Lakers.
