Sophomore Danny Ehnert led the team with 15 points. Three other Muskies scored in double figures with sophomore Kris Saiberlich scoring 13 and senior Germayne James and freshman Matt Rogers both adding 11. Ehnert and Rogers each pulled down seven boards.
Lakeland never trailed as the got out to a 33-23 halftime lead. The Muskies shot 13 of 25 from the field in the first half and 45 percent for the game. The Lakeland defense held Dominican to just 35 percent shooting on the evening. The Muskies scored 28 points off turnovers and 12 points on second chance opportunities.
The Muskies, 11-4 overall, will next be in action on Saturday, Jan. 14 at Concordia for a conference match.
