Louisiana College (4-7, 4-4 ASC) made just 33.3 percent of its field goal attempts but took 11 more shots and nine more free throws.
Casey Meador paced the Wildcats with 21 points, and 6-foot-11 center Tim Van added 10 points and five rebounds.
Texas Lutheran (4-7, 3-6 ASC) was held to seven second-half field goals and to one second-half three-pointer.
TLU’s leading scorer Will Hudson was held to three points. Hudson took just two shots all afternoon.
Jerrod Carpenter scored a team-high 12 for TLU and grabbed six rebounds. Nate Walton and Matt Nelson added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Walton scored 10 points in the first half but was 0-for-3 in the second half.
TLU point guard Jason Morales collected a game-high seven rebounds and made three steals.
Texas Lutheran returns to conference action next week with road games at Concordia-Austin (7:30 p.m., Thursday) and at Mary Hardin-Baylor (3 p.m., Saturday).
