La Roche 69, Pitt-Greensburg 67

Pittsburgh, PA — The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Men's Basketball team held a slim one-point lead at halftime, but were unable to hold on as host La Roche College used a strong second half to down the Bobcats 69-67. The loss was the first in the conference for Pitt-Greensburg, who now stand at 4-6 overall and 2-1 in the AMCC.

Duke Cooper paced the Bobcats with 14 points, seven assists, and four steals. Ed Montgomery and Bill Scavincky added 14 and 12 points respectively, while Daniel Waajid grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

La Roche attempted and made ten more free throws than the Bobcats in what was a key stat in the game. The Redhawks were led by Stacy Grady and Nate Davis, who each netted 15 points.

The Bobcats are back in action tomorrow night when they travel to face AMCC rival Lake Erie College. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
