Lehman 61, CCNY 27Bronx, NY — Junior guard Kathy Santiago scored 19 points to go along with eight steals as Lehman College defeated CCNY 61-27 in CUNY conference play at the APEX Arena.
Lehman (1-2 CUNY, 3-7 overall) led 37-4 at halftime before CCNY kept pace for the final total. Freshman forward Sally Nnamani scored 11 points for Lehman, while sophomores Maria Loor and Tiara Carroll each pulled down a team high eleven rebounds. CCNY (0-8, 0-3 CUNY) was led by freshman Stephanie Cruz who finished with 13 points for the Beavers. Up next for Lehman is a CUNY conference road match-up against first place Baruch College.
