ARDEN HILLS, Minn. — Despite a two point advantage at the half, the St. Olaf women's basketball team was unable to maintain its lead against Bethel University, losing 74-61.

Bethel's Jen Ahlberg led all scorers with 28 points.

St. Olaf went cold in the second half, going the first six minutes without a point. The Royals outscored St. Olaf 18-7 in the opening 14 minutes of the second frame.

Kristina Stoermer (Soph., Wayzata, Minn.) led the Oles in scoring with 12 points. Natalie Rigelman (Sr., Lake City, Minn.) followed closely behind with 10 points.

St. Olaf hosts the University of St. Thomas on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Skoglund Center. The game can be heard via webcast on the St. Olaf Athletics website.
