The visitors grabbed the game's first six rebounds and took a 4-0 lead, but the Fighting Scots dominated the rest of the way, winding up with a 56-32 edge on the boards. A 10-0 run put the Scots ahead 10-4, and they also had runs of 13-0 and 11-2 in the first half as they took a commanding 40-15 halftime lead. The second half was more of the same, and 14 unanswered points put the Scots ahead by 35 with 14:14 to play.
Ashley Yeast scored 12 of her team-high 20 points after intermission and made it a double-double by adding 11 rebounds. She also had five steals. Melissa Gorski scored all but two of her 17 points in the first half. Laura Jahn and Tanesha Hughes combined for 21 points off the bench for the Scots, who improved to 3-6.
The Red Devils, now 8-3, were led by Molly Hardesty, who scored 11.
