Huntingdon 84, Sewanee 75

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Huntingdon's Cole Hairston had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead the host Hawks to an 84-75 win against Sewanee in an
NCAA Division III men's college basketball game.

Sewanee (4-6) was led by junior Joey Garcia with a game-high 23 points, plus five rebounds. Teammate Spencer Rowland added 17 points, four assists and five steals.

FG%: Huntingdon 29-52 (55.8%), Sewanee (24-63 (38.1%)

Both teams shot well from the field in the first half as Huntingdon (6-5) was 16 of 25 (64.0%) and Sewanee was 15 of 30 (50.0%). Sewanee led 45-42 at intermission.
In the second half, the Hawks were 13 of 27 (48.1%) and Sewanee was 9 of 33 (27.3%).

Notes: Sewanee's Joey Garcia has scored in double figures in 14 straight games, including the final four games of last season.
