In the first half, The Eagles shot only 28.6-percent from the field and only managed to convert on 1-of-5 three-point attempts as it was all Warriors in the first half. Wisconsin Lutheran jumped out to a 22-7 lead after a Lewis Jiles lay-up with just over 10 minutes remaining in the first period. The Eagles climbed to within eight at the six minute mark, however a jumper by Lewis Giles with the time winding down gave the Warriors a 16 point lead at the break.
In the second half, the Eagles improved on their shooting but remained cold from beyond the arch as they made 2-of-13 for the game. The Warriors on the other hand shot nearly 40-percent from the three-point line and shot 46-percent from the field for the game.
In their last games as Eagles, Seth Cooper poured in 16 points, Justin Kuhnau tallied five points and Brian Uelman added two points to end their respective careers for Edgewood College.
A bright spot for the Eagles was Chris DeMarco, who scored a game high 18 points by going 12-of-15 from the free-throw line. Lewis Giles led the Warriors with 17 points as Stefan Spath and Brian Hagel added 16 each.
With the win, the Warriors receive the LMC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championships which are set to get underway with first round regional action on Thursday, Mar. 2.
