Howard Payne 61, Mary Hardin-Baylor 57

BROWNWOOD, Tx.; — The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s basketball team took Howard Payne down to the wire for the third time this season, but the Crusaders could not hold the Yellow Jackets off in a 61-57 loss in the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament semifinals Saturday afternoon in Brownwood. The UMHB men were in the ASC Tournament semifinals for the first time in school history.
