The Blazers (13-6, 8-1 NAC) recorded their 11th win in the last 14 games to remain atop the NAC West Division. The Lynx saw their four-game winning streak snapped as they fell to 8-9, 4-4 NAC.
Davis, who was 11 of 18 from behind the arc and 13 of 20 from the field in just 22 minutes, broke both Arnold Chavarria's previous record of 37 points set against Roger Williams in 2001 and Kyle Seyboth’s ’05 10 three-pointers at Castleton State in 2004.
Davis nearly single-handedly carried the Blazers in the second half, as he scored 30 of his 39 points after intermission, including eight 3-pointers.
Freshman forward Antoine Holder (Hartford, CT) added 15 points and nine rebounds, senior forward Lonnie Branyon III (West Haven, CT) had 10 points and junior point guard John Ancrum (Harlem, NY) dished out a season-high 12 assists to pace the Blazers.
Lesley, which led 38-36 at halftime, received a stellar 33-point, 10-rebound effort from junior forward Toby Brittian (South Kingstown, RI). Brittian, who is currently the NAC’s second-leading scorer, finished 13 of 17 from the field.
