Wheaton (Ill.) 90, Carthage 66

Wheaton, Ill. — The Wheaton Thunder men’s basketball team closed out its season with a 90-66 homecourt victory against Carthage (10-15/6-8) tonight. The young Thunder squad ends the year with an 11-14 overall record and a 7-7 mark in league play to finish fifth in the CCIW.

Wheaton's Senior co-captain Tony Bollier entered tonight’s game as the Division III leader in free throw percentage for this season. Bollier ends the season with a 92.9% (104-112) free throw percentage to set a new Wheaton single-season record, breaking the previous mark of 92.7% (38-41) set by Ronn Smith in the 1992-93 season.
