Farmingdale State 98, Kings Point 72

Farmingdale, NY — Three Farmingdale State seniors scored in double figures tonight to lead the Rams (20-5) to a 98-72 victory over Kings Point (10-16) in a Skyline Conference men's basketball quarterfinal game in Farmingdale, NY. Senior Dashawn Warren (Astoria, NY/W.C. Bryant) finished with game-highs of 21 points and 10 rebounds for Farmingdale State, senior Kenny McMillan (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) had 20 points, six steals and six rebounds and senior MD Mazique (Bronx, NY/Taft) tallied 16 points. The Rams scored a season-high 62 points in the first half, hitting 7-of-9 three-pointers, and added 36 more in the second to move onto the Skyline semifinals. The men will now host #5 seed Stevens on Thursday night at 7:00pm.

Farmingdale State freshman Daimien Santana (Brooklyn, NY/Grady) notched the second double-double of his career, finishing with 19 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and six steals. Sophomore Sean McCabe (Bellmore, NY/W.C. Mepham) had nine points and six boards.

Alex Loepker (Lafayette, IN/Central Catholic) led the Mariners with 19 points (4-of-5 from three), while Paul Tricarico (Lynbrook, NY/St. Mary's) finished with 12 points.
