NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Craig Hannon scored 29 points, Mark DeMonaco added 24 and Westminster clinched the third seed in next week's PAC Tournament, as the Titans beat Waynesburg, 94-82, on Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets (14-10, 7-5 PAC), who are the fourth seed in the tournament, will now host Grove City on Tuesday, Feb. 22, after sweeping the two-game season series with the Wolverines.PrAC Waynesburg Yellow Jackets

Hannon, who paced the Titans (10-15, 7-5 PAC) with 23 first-half points, hit six three-pointers in the opening 20 minutes of the game. During that time, Westminster hit an astoudning 56.5 percent (13 of 23) from beyond the arc to take a 57-34 halftime lead.
The Yellow Jackets shot a solid 43.8 percent (14 of 32) from the floor in the first half despite struggling from three-point range.
Westminster, who held the lead the entire game, took control of the in the first half with 31-14 run over an eight-minute stretch. The Titans made 8-of-12 three-pointers during that span, including one by Hannon that made the score 54-27 with 2:51 left before the half.
Hannon and Westminster cooled off in the second half, as the Titans made just 4 of 25 long-range attempts (16 percent). The Yellow Jackets behind a combined 22 second-half points from captains Ryan Bujnowski and Beau Wilson trimmed the deficit to five points before the Titans retook a double-digit lead.
Wilson led five Yellow Jackets in double figures with 17 points and tied his career high of nine rebounds, while Bujnowski registered his first collegiate double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Guards Tim Drakeley and Jeff Linden added 16 and 10, respectively, off the bench, while Marc Lodovico bucketed 12.
