Down by as much as 21 points, the Blue Devils behaved like Lazarus, coming back from the dead as they slowly chipped away at the lead and took the lead with 1:14 on a Jacob Nonemacher dunk, which capped off a 9-0 run by Stout.
The Eagles took the lead back on a bucket by Chris Brown, but Stout's Greg Chaisson went coast-to-coast to lay the ball in and pull Stout back up, 67-66. The Eagles missed a 3-pointer and Terry Farmer grabbed the rebound. Chandler was fouled and made the back end of the pair to boost Stout's lead to 68-66.
Following two timeouts, one by each team, the Eagles' Chris Ask tied the game at 68 with nine seconds remaining.
Ryan Stangl found Chandler open in the corner and the sophomore guard buried the clutch 3-pointer.
Nonemacher led all scorers with 21 points and completed the double-double with 12 rebounds.
