Cedar Rapids, Iowa — #23 Simpson (21-4, 15-1 IIAC) made 59.3% (35-of-59) of its field goal attempts in the first half as the Storm thundered to a 84-65 victory over Coe (8-17, 6-10 IIAC) Feb. 18 in Cedar Rapids. The Storm shot 62.5% (20-for-32) in the first half as Simpson took a 47-31 lead into halftime. Sarah Pearson led all scorers with 19 points on 8-for-11 shooting. Fellow center Ashley Katch was 5-for-6 from the floor on her way to 13 points. Carlie Beals made 4-of-5 three-point attempts to score 12 while Katelyn Whiton added 10 points and six rebounds.

Coe was led by Morgan Bailey who posted a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Amber Karkosh scored 13 for the Kohawks.
