The Spartans came out strong, feeding off an emotional pregame Senior Day ceremony, as they led 18-8 a little over six minutes into the game. The Spartans built the lead to 13 before the Bison picked up a pair of buckets to cut the lead to nine at 25-16. Those triples were the beginning of a 15-2 run that ended the half, giving the green and white a 49-24 lead at the break.
The second half saw Gallaudet use a 10-5 run over the opening three minutes, cutting the York led to 20.
