With the win, the Bears clinch a spot in next week’s MASCAC Tournament. BSC improves their overall record to 14-8 and 7-3 in conference play. Worcester falls to 12-12 on the season and 6-5 in the MASCAC.
Junior guard Adam Rose (Harwich, MA) came off the bench to score 18 points on 7 of 10 shooting while adding a pair of assists and 3 steals. Sophomore guard Tom Cuddihy (Scituate, MA) also finished in double figures with 12 points. Cuddihy added a game-high 7 assists as well.
Sophomore guard Will Spont (Bellingham, MA) led the way for Worcester State as he registered 18 points and 8 rebounds.
Bridgewater will head to Salem State on Thursday night for a key MASCAC matchup with the Vikings. Tip-Off is slated for 8 PM. Worcester is off until Saturday when they host Salem at 4 PM.
