Andrew Boor scored on a turnaround jumper in the lane with 40 seconds left to give visiting AU the three-point win over Shenandoah (9-13, 1-9 USA South).
Boor's last second shot ended a sea-saw contest in which the two teams exchanged the lead 10 times and were tied on four others. The victory also keeps the faint regular season title hopes alive for the Cougars (17-7, 8-3).
Boor's shot also ruined a 25 point, 22 rebound, five block evening by Lawrence. The junior set a new school record for rebounds in a game as he pulled down 10 offensive and 12 defensive boards. Thirteen of his 22 rebounds came following the break as he played all but the first three minutes of the half.
Following Boor's shot, Shenandoah had two chances to tie or take the lead and one last desperation jump shot. http://www.su.edu/athletics/mb/players.cfm?rid=845"> color="#CC0000" size="1"> Antwon Townsend missed a layup with 24 seconds left before http://www.su.edu/athletics/mb/players.cfm?rid=493"> color="#CC0000" size="1"> Stevie Johns mis-fired on a three-pointer eight seconds later.
