DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Loras College women's basketball team continued thier winning ways on Friday night with a 60-53 win over the Coe College at the Fieldhouse.

The Duhawks led by five at the break, 31-26, but Coe quickly came back to start the second frame. The Kohawks (8-14, 6-7) scored eight straight points to take a brief 41-40 lead before the teams traded baskets for the middle stretch of the second half. Pucci's three-pointer with 7:45 left gave the Duhawks the lead for the final time at 48-47. Blair Bennett added 14 points and three assists for Loras.

The Duhawks upped their Iowa Conference record to 9-4, keeping them tied for 3rd in the standings with Buena Vista. Overall, the Duhawks are now back to .500 at 11-11. Friday's win comes less than 24 hours prior to the showdown with the Iowa Conference leading Simpson College Storm.
