Trailing winless Daniel Webster by a point at halftime the Suffolk Rams were on fire in the second half to post a 95-80 victory over the Eagles and gain their 10th win against 12 losses. The Eagles grabbed the halftime lead on off-balance three-pointer with one second remaining by freshman Adam Greeno. Greeno and freshman teammate Nicholas Johnson paced the red-hot shooting Eagles with 10 and 14 points respectively in the first half. In the second half John Murphy put the Rams into high gear as they pounced on the Eagles with numerous fast break points and a 53-37 advantage. Murphy collected 21 points for the Rams as he led a foursome in double figures. Greeno and Johnson continued with their shooting finesse in the second stanza with Johnson gaining game scoring honors with 22 points and Greeno 20. The Eagles were outrebounded 64 to 33. The Eagles are at Rivier Saturday for a 3 p.m. encounter.
