Featuring four players in double figures the Cadets of Norwich University marched to a convincing 89-45 win over an undermanned Daniel Webster quintet Tuesday night in the Gate City. Junior Rene Cheatham dropped in 19 points to lead Norwich while sophomore Neal Foley led the Eagles with 20 points to cop game scoring honors. The Cadets were relentless in the first half holding the Eagles to single digits until six minute mark with the score at 46-10. The Cadets steadily built upon the lead. The closest the Eagles got in the second half was 24 points as they started on a 6-0 run before the Cadets regrouped and increased their bulge. Norwich is now 14-6 overall and 10-4 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference while the Eagles remained winless at 0-20 and 0-14 in conference play.
