A massive offensive onslaught by BBC in the first half put the game out of reach for the Spartans. Baptist Bible shot a whopping 72.7% from the floor in the first half making 24 of 33 shot attempts to take a commanding 59-22 lead into the half.
Five Defenders finished in double figures with Josh Workman (So. Akron, OH/ Cuyahoga Valley Christian) leading the way with 17 points. Senior David Stallard (Clarks Summit, PA/ Calvary Christian) contributed 16 to the cause. BBC's record improves to 16-4 overall and 11-2 in the NEAC.
D'Youville was paced by senior swingman Ross King (Silver Springs, NY/ Letchworth) who netted 12 points for the Spartans D'Youville's record falls to 4-18 overall and 3-10 in the NEAC.
BBC is in action again this Friday night versus Lancaster Bible College and the Spartans take the hardwood again on Saturday, February 11 against Polytechnic at 8:00pm in the College Center Gymnasium.
