Playing against fellow seven-footer Kerry Gibson of the Titans, Nonemacher connected on 11-of-17 shots from the floor - including a couple of exclamation point dunked shots - had six offensive rebounds, seven defensive caroms and four blocked shots.
Gibson was no slouch himself, scoring 19 points and pulling down seven rebounds, along with two blocked shots.
The win kept the Blue Devils (17-4, 10-3) a leg up over UW-Stevens Point, which defeated UW-La Crosse Saturday, and in first place in the WIAC. Stout will host the Pointers, Saturday, Feb. 11 at 5 p.m.
After five lead changes in the first half, Stout took the lead, 18-17, at the 9:47 mark of the first period and would not relinquish it taking a 33-27 halftime lead over the Titans (15-7, 9-4).
It was Nonemacher who, along with the rest of the starting five, that really sparked Stout in the second half. Nonemacher accounted for 15 second half points and Terry Farmer had eight second half points as Adam Chandler and Ryan Stangl each had seven after the break.
Nursing a four point, 38-34, lead five minutes into the second half, Stout went off on a 12-2 run over the next four minutes, with Nonemacher getting six points in the run. Oshkosh would get only as close as 10 points the rest of the way.
Stangl finished the night with 15 points, Chandler 12 and Farmer 10.
Besides Gibson's 19 points, the Titans got 20 points from Andy Jahnke.
