Trinity (Texas) 63, University of Dallas 49

San Antonio, Tex. — Trinity's men's basketball team secured a fairly easy 63-49 win over the University of Dallas on Saturday night.

Trinity (16-5) led 34-19 at the break, hitting better than 46% of its first-half shots. Dallas was held to 35% shooting in the period.

Brandon York and James Lake led Trinity with 11 points each, while Ross Burt finished with 10 points. Lake also added six rebounds, while Burt had three steals. No Tiger player saw more than 21 minutes of action, and all 17 players that dressed for tonight's game saw at least some playing time.

Jay Riola led the team with seven rebounds, while Mitch Walker finished with six points and seven assists for the Tigers.

Jason Bassett had a solid 16-point, 12-rebound night for Dallas, while Michael Cusack and Mike Smiljanic added 10 points each for the Crusaders.

Trinity will hit the road for the final time in the regular season next weekend, facing Oglethorpe and Millsaps.
