Montgomery, Alabama — The Huntingdon Lady Hawks (9-12) finished the game on an 18 to 6 run in the final three and a half minutes to break open a tight game for a75 to 64 win over visiting Toccoa Falls College (14-9).


“We needed a strong finish and we got it as these ladies stepped up again,” said Coach Buzz Phillips. “Now we have some conference business to tend to.”


Tiffany Jordan picked up yet another double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Ronnisha Ravizee finished with 21 points for Huntingdon. Sarah English led the Lady Eagles with 16 points while Kelly James picked up a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 16 rebounds.


Huntingdon is on the road this Wednesday for a GSAC match-up with Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. The game tips off at 6:00 p.m. EST.
