Hope 86, Rochester (Mich.) 38

HOLLAND, Mich. — Hope College coasted to its 17th consecutive victory by routing non-league opponent Rochester, Mich. 86-38 on Saturday. Coach Brian Morehouse's Flying Dutch have now won 20-or-more victories for eight consecutive seasons. With a 20-1 record, the Flying Dutch the past four seasons have gone 97-10.

The Flying Dutch limited Rochester to just two baskets in the first half to go ahead 47-14. In the end, all 16 Hope players got on the scoreboard led by junior Ellen Wood with 11 points. Stacy Warsen and Lindsay Lange added nine points apiece while scoring eight were Bria Ebels and Becky Bosserd. Julie Henderson was credited with five assists. The Flying Dutch collected 20 steals.
