Rochester (13-6 overall, 4-4 UAA) took the lead for good late in the first half when Michael Chmielowic's three-point basket at the 5:48 mark gave the Yellowjackets a 22-20 edge. Rochester led 27-25 at the break.
Tim Brackney's jumper with 7:59 left in the game put the Yellowjackets ahead by double digits for the first time, 45-35. Rochester built its largest lead of the night, 48-37, when Uche Ndubizu hit a free throw with 5:18 to play.
Chicago (11-8, 4-4) cut the deficit to four points, 48-44, on a basket by Nate Hainje at the 3:50 mark, but Rochester would outscore the Maroons 12-5 the rest of the way.
Juron was successful on 10 of 12 free throw tries on the night and was 7-for-8 during the final 2:12. Juron and Jon Onyiriuka each finished with 12 points, while Ndubizu added 11.
Jesse Meyer and Hainje paced the Maroons with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Chicago shot just 31.5% from the field, while Rochester connected at a 44.9% clip.
