The Bobcats drilled 10 three-pointers, and shot 54% from the field in the contest, as their high octane offense was too much for Lake Erie to handle.
Duke Cooper led a balanced Bobcat attack by posting a game-high 18 points. He also contributed a game-high five assists, and in the process he broke Pitt-Greensburg's single-season assists record of 93. Cooper's total now stands at 98, as he broke the previous mark held by Kevin Conlon (01-05) and Clyde Manns (96-97, 99-00).
The Bobcats had four other players reach double figures in the contest, led by the 14-point performance of Edward Montgomery. Chris Streett and Tim Gustin each posted 12 points, and Daniel Waajid netted 10 points.
The Storm was led by Jacjen Harris, who posted a team-high 17 points. Darnell Campbell came off the bench to score 15 for Lake Erie.
The Bobcats are back in action tomorrow, February 4, when they host La Roche College. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
