Utica 74, Alfred 60

ALFRED, NY — Utica defeated the Alfred University men’s basketball team, 74-60, Friday night at the McLane Center.

Senior forward Ryan Hallett and junior center Dillon Stein each scored 14 points to pace Alfred (8-11, 2-6 Empire 8). Senior forward Todd Dersham added 13 points and five rebounds. Junior forward Ryan Clemenson had a team-high eight rebounds for AU.

Ray Bryant led Utica (15-3, 6-2 Empire 8) with a game-high 24 points. Justin Cichon had 18 points and Willie Lucas 13 points and a game-high 10 rebounds for Utica.

Alfred is in action next on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 4 p.m. at home against Hartwick.
