Eastern 109, Marywood 78

ST. DAVIDS, Pa. — The Eagles used ninteenfirst half points from Bobby Black to race to a 53-39 halftime advantage. The second half opened with the Eagles on another strong run as they opened up a 94-57 lead with eight minutes remaining, and the reserves got some much deserved playing time to close out a 109-78.

The Eagles, who had 14 players score on the night, earned their fifteenth win of the year against just six defeats. Black, one of just two players to play over thirteen minutes, led Eastern with 23 points on five of eight shooting from behind the three point line. Matt Flanagan, Matt Malloy, and Lenny DiMaria each chipped in ten and the Eagles had four more players with eight or more points. Adam Wildesin picked up a game high 31 for the Pacers with just 15 shots.

The Eagles, who seemed to score at will picked up 32 points off turnovers and shot a stunning 65% from the field in the second half. The Eagles return to action Saturday afternoon at Neumann in a PAC game with playoff implications.
