Senior guard Keven Bradley scored a career-high 19 points for the 15th-ranked Vikings, who improved to 3-0. Freshman guard Ryan Kroeger added 13 points. All-America forward Chris Braier was limited to eight points and eight rebounds.
Lewis Jiles paced Wisconsin Lutheran (0-5) with 14 points and Danny Behm added 10.
Lawrence went on a 16-5 run in the first half to bump its lead to 32-16 with 4:54 left before the break. Kroeger nailed a 3-pointer with five seconds left in the first half to give Lawrence a 43-25 lead at the break.
Wisconsin Lutheran battled back and scored seven straight points to trim Lawrence's lead to 49-41 with 12:00 left in the game.
The Vikings responded with a 12-2 run, which was capped by a Tommy Schmidt 3-pointer and a pair of Andy Hurley free throws, and led 59-43 with 7:19 left.
The lead stayed in double digits until the final 21 seconds.
