Baruch 85, Mount Saint Vincent 68

Riverdale, NY — Baruch overturned an early 50-39 disadvantage in the second half with a 13-0 run to comeback to defeat the College of Mount Saint Vincent by the score of 85-68 in a non-conference game played Monday night in Riverdale, New York.

Louie Karis (Brooklyn, NY/Xaverian) led the way for the Bearcats (4-1) with 24 points, while Robi Davidson scored a season-high 21 points (5-10 on 3-FG). Carl Emengo (Brooklyn, NY/Canarsie) and George Kunkel (Glendale, NY/Archbishop Molloy) each added 13 points.

Baruch connected on 7-of-14 key three-pointers in the second half, and received valuable contributions off the bench from players such as Ben Crane (Spring Valley, NY/Spring Valley) with 13 solid minutes of defense against their top ball-handler and Danial Levent (Forest Hills, NY/American Studies) with three free throws in five minutes of action.

Mount Saint Vincent's prolific scorer James Mooney (Bronx, NY/Iona Prep) was limited to 23 points on 8-of-24 shooting. He entered the game with a 36.5 points per game average during the early part of this season.

Baruch will return to action this Wednesday night with a non-conference road game at SUNY-Farmingdale. Tip off in Farmingdale, Long Island is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
