Northern finished 2-0 in a tournament for the second consecutive week after winning the Albion (Mich.) Classic last weekend. Hussen ends up 0-2 in tournament play after a 66-64 loss to tournament host Notre Dame de Namur (Calif.) on Thursday,
Junior Greg Badenhop scored 17, freshman Kurtis Brown scored 11 in his first career start and junior Bart Hostetler added 10 for the Polar Bears.
Phillip White scored 17 to pace Husson.
ONU's 4-0 start is its best since the 1998-99 squad won its first five en route to a 24-4 record and an Ohio Athletic Conference championship.
"We are playing very well right now," ONU head coach Jeff Coleman said. "We turned it over too many times. But we won by 20 and the kids are playing hard and having fun playing together. We shot very well because we took good shots. It's a great start to the season."
Northern led 46-38 at halftime and expanded its lead by outscoring Husson 44-32 in the second half.
ONU hit 62 perecnt from the floor, making 31-of-50 of its field goal attempts and was 13-of-22 from three-point range for 59.1 percent.
Husson made 23-of-46 from the field for 50.0 percent. ONU out-rebounded HC 26-20 behind a game-high six rebounds from junior Ryan Lee.
The two schools combined for 47 turnovers, as ONU had a season-high 23 and Husson had 24.
The Polar Bears will open the home portion of their schedule Saturday, Dec. 3, against Mount Union at the ONU Sports Center.
