Rockford 75, Knox 56
GALESBURG, Ill. — On Saturday the Women’s Basketball team took on the Knox College Prairie Fire. The Regents seemed to be the ones on fire, though, as they outscored the Prairie Fire 75-56. Dorman, Paula Jones (Port Byron, IL/United Township), Strunz, and Butler all hit the net for double digits. Jones led the team in assists with 5, and Wheeler and Dorman each had 6 rebounds. While the Regents and the Prairie Fire had similar shot totals, the Regents capitalized better with a 50.0% field goal percentage and a 72.7% free throw percentage to extinguish the Prairie Fire.
